Small video

Is it possible to upload small video clips to meatgistics. I have them shrunk to 2mb. But error messages every time. Video clips really tell the tale better than pictures.

I don’t think they have a way to upload video that I know of.

Tex_77 That is a great idea. I don’t know how to pull it off & probably do not have the means to make it work & look the best, but I think it is a great idea. Maybe we need to work on a remote video throw down BBQ show for folks. Maybe Walton’s can help.

lkrfletcher It is something Austin and I have kicked around in the past. At the time we though the only way to do it would be to have people create their own youtube channels (free) and then submit links and we would have to review them (sorry, I know all the regular users on here wouldn’t do this) in the off chance someone tried to link to something horrible.
When he gets back and we have the new waltonsinc.com up and running we will take a look at some more new features for the meatgistics community.

Yeah, wont be uploading any videos. As far as your new website and Meatgistics it would be nice to upload photos without having to reduce the size of them. Wink, Wink.Anyway, getting ready to grind and do some snack sticks today. And of course just discovered I’m out of Sure Gel…Argh!!
Also out of Jalapeno snack stick seasoning. Will use the Jalapeno summer instead. Guess I need to place an order. -
PapaSop I’ve looked for some add-on we can install that would prevent people from having to resize images. It would be way easier to post if it automatically downscaled images size or quality but I have not found anything. High on the list!

PapaSop No, they aren’t sadly. We had a miscommunication with the vendor and they didn’t include them. Hopefully on the next batch of them!
