Brianh I called my local Y to make sure they were still charging me in the hopes it means employees will still get paid and they weren’t. I had them switch me to a “sustaining member” or something where they continue to bill during downtimes like this…not that there has been downtimes like this before. But, I’m lucky enough to still have a job and want to keep contributing to good places!

craigrice Yup, I’m worried things won’t be the same. However, I DO feel a little “post 9/11 love” for my fellow Americans and I see it more when I’m out and about and that’s a great thing. I am also talking to my family a lot more than I was and old friends, if something good comes of this I think it will be those types of things and maybe this will get us prepared if we ever see something awful like an airborne Ebola.

San Angelo, Texas so far only 2 cases!

a family should eat a meal together every night, without this the children become raised by the system and not instilled with the morals and ideals, and guidance of the parents as to what they should be and do in life, maybe this is Gods way of telling us to slow down regroup and get our priority’s right to what they should be instead of the fast pace life we think we need to live

Our local HEB has plenty of meat now, for awhile they were limiting everybody. But TP is still hard to get along with dried item like beans etc… But with 4 deer in freezer, hogs, quail, ducks, pheasant we seems to be doing very well, oh and red snapper in freezer. Like I said we are blessed to only have 2 cases of Covid-19, one is on the air force base and the other was a guy who came back from NY. Stay safe y’all and do not fear.

That is just plumb sorry, SAD. Regardless of the times, but worse when they are already hurting!

Joe Hell Kansas just issued a stay home order.

Yeah, we had it in Wichita, KC and probably some other towns but now it’s statewide

About week into it here and I’m already good with it. This sucks but I get it. -
Joe Hell Man that’s rough. Sadly we are going to see more and more of this, or I am thinking we will, who knows, maybe people will surprise me but no matter how much most f us come together there are always going to be people who only look out for themselves.

On the lighter side of all the corona talk. Just talked to a gal who exclaimed…
" I feel like I’m sixteen again. Gas is cheap and I’m grounded"
Yep!

Just looking at some numbers from March '19 to this past March. Up 49k cases. Even with bars and restaurants all but shuttered, people are still getting their drink on. Good and bad. Feel for those places who are still the backbone! It’s coming around. You got this!
