PapaSop The same people that panic and buy guns/ammo tend to be the same ones that gripe when the prices go up based on lack of supply but instead try to blame it on a conspiracy.

Joe Hell Your liver thanks you but you gotta build that tolerance!

Tex_77 Tequila is my favorite liquor, Anejo is what I go for if it isn’t too pricey! For beer I’ve been on a year long Sour kick but I wouldn’t call that my favorite. I HATE IPA’s with an all consuming passion…well that’s over stating it a little but I do not like them! I love almost all Porters and Stouts but I think my overall favorite would be Belgians, Quads specifically but I am not too picky. Favorite of those would probably be a beer called Piraat (yes spelled like that) though these certainly aren’t my every day drinking beers! Favorite easy drinker is New Castle and favorite seasonal is Spaaten Octoberfest or Harpoon winter warmer. I used to manage a beer store in upstate New York, so I still love good beer!

Jonathon I too have no love for IPAs or the people that drink them. Every time I tell some manicured bearded hipster that I prefer a lager to latest micro IPA, I get a look of total disgust like I farted in front of the fist lady. As far as booze goes as an upstate N.Y. boy I love Hudson baby bourbon.

skibumben I’ll have to look for that one! I’ve been a fan of their beers for years. The Black Butte Porter helped shaped my love of beer and passion for brewing.

Joe Hell I was really surprised how much I liked the Bulliet but I didn’t get that version, just the normal one. Still really good!

Bulliet is very good. Have not tried the barrel strength either. Their rye is also good. Though I haven’t mixed one in awhile, either one mixed with ginger ale and a dash of bitters is quite tasty.

PapaSop I’ve been enjoying Negroni and Manhattan’s lately. Perhaps I’ll have an old fashioned this afternoon. Reduced hours isn’t a bad thing for now.

Jonathon s request, please list your drink of choice. I’ll start, I love bourbon and Coors Light or a good old Coors yellow belly. My bourbons of choice are Elijah Craig, Bulliet, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam Black and W.L. Wellers. Now if I just want to pound down some drinks a good 7&7 can’t be beat.

I live on a lake in a resort town. Last night 3 houses were robbed ! They emptied out freezers and cupboards, Just took all their food and nothing else. I have a lot of guns no one is getting our food…

Got home yesterday and turned on some music. Shut off news, social media and everything else. Just took a couple hours and let my mind clear. Doesn’t matter the genre. Whatever it takes to escape a bit. This is not ignorance. Just finding a calm.

I also would give food and anything I could to help others. I is just a sad situation for a lot of people right now. Even the food banks have stopped giving out food to those who really need help… I don’t know if this is true but hunting all game right now is legal right now to help with food…

kathy cross You are SUCH a team blue person! It’s a shame honestly! No, in all seriousness this is a good time to think about how to protect your family. I certainly have including some weapons training for my wife, a new shotgun with a plan to store it in a place we can easily access it and training for my 160 lb mastiff. I got one of those dog bite sleeves things on the way, he already loves to bite and hold my arm when we are playing, I want to encourage that ESPECIALLY when I am not around.

He is a sweet dog but we had someone try to come and walk him one day when we were not there and the coworker said he was already there by the time she opened the door and was snarling and showing his teeth…and he knew her! So, good luck to anyone thinking about taking what’s mine or harming my family!

Now, if someone had peanutbutter Brutus would stop snarling right away and do whatever they wanted probably!D2FA7BA3-D15D-49FE-B01C-965FCD8B503B.jpeg

For scale, the one in front is 95 lb
