Meat Slicers

Jonathon Do you know why the 7in slicer has a larger motor then the 9in slicer?
-
Tex_77 Honestly, I have no idea. In fact, I went to double-check cause I assume I had written the description incorrectly but nope, the 7.5" has 200 watt and the 9" has a 150 watt. Seem counterintuitive but it is a fact!

Jonathon Sounds like you need to test them out to see which one is best then!

@s-a-m or anyone else, remind me during the next livestream to bring this up to Austin. That might actually make for a fun giveaway(s)

Well I got the Weston 9in slicer for Christmas and I must say it’s a big step up from the old one I had from the 60’s or 70’s. The slices were clean and thickness stayed consistent and could do deli thin slices! My only complaint would be, it feels like it’s made for a left handed person.

craigrice I think mine was 2 generations old, and the plastic on it was starting to get brittle and break. It was well past time for an upgrade.
