does it matter if it is an Atlantic or Pacific Octopus?

Departing Contestant That’s an interesting question, from what I am able to find you can eat either of them but it doesn’t appear (and this is just based on searching online) that there is a taste difference. Or, if there is, no one has pointed it out. I don’t even know if the one we had was Atlantic of Pacific or something else!
Does anyone else have any idea?

Jonathon I would think that the Pacific would be saltier

Departing Contestant Why is that? The Atlantic is apparently saltier than the Pacific (at least according to a quick google search) and I am not familiar enough with Octopus to know any reason why it would be saltier. Please let me know why, I am very interested in this!
