Menu bar not showing right

My menu bar is missing some items an notifications. I can’t seem to find anyplace to sign out and back in to see if that fixes it.

Me too. Used to list all the notifications so I could see if anyone directly replied to me, now it is kinda buried under multiple button presses Seems harder to keep up on posts.

Grimpuppy I am not seeing anything missing from your menu bar, it goes Unread, FAQ, Topics, Users, Map, Live, Events, Conversions…what did you have before that?

Jonathon notifications aren’t showing up right in the app.

Jonathon Jon, yep you got it. Thats where all the replies and other Notifications used to show on phone, and plenty of lines to see what they all were. No clicking required. Right under where the menu says All Notifications. Not sure if it looked different how you usually access it, I’m on an android Samsung phone using chrome or samsung internet app to access it.

My other post was for if you decide to keep this new notification page, making it show enough to tell what posts are about

Ahh the joys of platform upgrading there will always be differences users aren’t used to. Thanks much for even asking folks for inputs and bug reports, already head and shoulders above most IT upgrades I had at work!

Tex_77 Tes they aren’t. Only “all notifications” when using my phone. No issues when using the internet page on my pc (non app) Maybe have to get used to seeing it using this method. Geez!

Search, my profile, and notifications without having to click on it.

I’ve sent a message to NodeBB asking about this, seeing if this is something that they can fix, or revert back to the previous way it handled it.

Uhmm… How DO we access our profile now? Menu doesnt work nor does Clicking on your profile picture. I can’t figure out what the new way is now?
Edit, ahh if you make a post and then click on THAT wee profile picture near your name, then it will let you into profile.

ND Mike The phone version doesn’t have search, individual notifications and yes, finding a profile is not easy for general folk. Found it. But, is a total workaround. You have to find one of your posts. Then select the picture.

zbigjeff no, the new version doesn’t have search. The old did, I’m a little too “in the cups” to fix now but it’s on my list for early thus week

Jonathon Glad you were relaxing. It a time to spend having fun. We all just find “things” and advise. There will be time when you get back to IT. I lived in IT and I also had to just walk away and have my time also. Enjoy.
