I am making a new portable Elk Camp. I got a Hiker trailer and am beginning the Mods to it. Hopefully it will be ready for November Elk season. I started with a decal my wife made me. What do you think?

lkrfletcher since you are a foot hunter there are two additional things you need. The first is a one wheeled cart with handles at both ends. I’ve used one to take out many moose. The other is a Hammond Game Getter (Google it) to harvest grouse etc. I needed it while sheep hunting living out of a backpack

kyle It is an adventure you will never forget if you go. Also if you do go, start walking regularly because you will cover a lot of ground at altittude.

lkrfletcher Yes and if you are coming from the flatlands, you better walk a lot more than that to get ready for the mountains.

bocephus lkrfletcher I will someday. I was losing weight and trying to get in better shape and my Dad and I were planning a trip. He had gone a few times when I was too young to go, but when I got old enough and could afford it, he got sick and passed away. Kinda took the wind out of my sail.

hey vegetarians, my food poops on your food!
