We have been perusing the website for a few weeks as we’ve decided to make a new batch of kielbasa and we’re interested in trying Walton’s natural casings (a tubed package of hog casings specifically). We’ve decided we want to try them but as we go to check out there are several shipping options that leave us wondering if we can get it in time without paying double. We stopped into the local distributor only to find they do not directly sell merchandise from there. While there we were lead to believe shipping was typically two days but our options on the website are:Economy, Expedited, UPS 2nd day Air, and UPS next day air. The ups 2nd day Air is the same cost as the casings and the next day air is double (tripping the cost of the casings). We need to know what the expected delivery times are for the economy and expedited shipping as we’re planning on stuffing sausages Saturday morning and it is currently Monday evening. The two most expensive options make this purchase unreasonable for us. Thank you for your consideration. We are in Omaha, NE if that helps.

Ship time for the Expedited ship method to Omaha is 1 day. Economy could be up to 3 days. Expedited will go UPS to get a delivery day guarantee. Economy could go first class or priority USPS or Surepost, a combo of UPS and USPS.

Bruss Austin already got this but yes, you “should” be next day on expedited and would maybe be next day on standard. With Economy it can, and often does, get handed off to USPS for the last leg of delivery, which can add 1-2 days onto it. So if you absolutely NEED it next day, expedited will get that to you, no need for you to pay for the next day air option in Omaha.

FYI you have a bar/restaurant up there called “Pitch” that has some unreal food (https://pitchpizzeria.com/west-omaha) If you have never checked it out I highly recommend it, the pizza was great and the freaking Brussel Sprouts (yes, I am actually saying Brussel Sprouts in a positive light) were unreal, they did them with Pancetta and bacon and oh my god!

Austin ty for the info. We ordered expedited Monday night and looks like we’re getting it today (tomorrow at the latest) so everything is working out. Thank you all for your comments!
