Austin I don’t think there is such a thing as a good Mac and Cheese recipe, smoked or not. My wife is only allowed to have it when I am gone. LOL

Austin Looks like everyone else just about has you covered, so I will refrain. Hope it turns out well. Nothing more soul satisfying than smoked Mac & Cheese. Not much help for all the other areas though…

          Thanks guys!
I took bits and pieces from a couple recipes there.

I was doing good with everything, stirring every 20 minutes on the smoker, and was excited for it all… Then, I just completely forgot I was cooking and didn’t check on it for 90 minutes…

          Bad things happened.

End up with a nice burnt layer on the bottom of the pan. I had to scrape out the macaroni that was still good, add more cheese cause a lot of it melted and burned off.

Ended up salvaging it, and it still turned out pretty good. Put myself through quite a fiasco to get the final product though! I appreciate all the help and input on recipes!!!

kyle it’d be super easy to do on a cast iron skillet or pot on a camp fire. As long as you stir every 20 minutes and don’t forget about it like I did! Lol

Austin kyle use a Dutch oven and use light coals on the bottom and lid. It won’t get the smoke in a Dutch oven, but bakes it well. Like Austin said, stirring will keep it from burning.

Austin glad you made a save. Smoked Mac and Cheese is a favorite of mine, but my lovely wife doesn’t like it smoked. Her taste buds are broke.
