Thanks to @DennyO for cluing me into this one. https://www.nationalhogfarmer.com/news/isu-scientists-uncover-clues-why-pigs-dont-get-sick-covid-19 they have figured out that Pigs are not being symptomatic with Covid because they go into apoptosis (from google so it must be correct “the death of cells which occurs as a normal and controlled part of an organism’s growth or development.”)
Now, Apoptosis is also what is responsible for a cells natural growth and death. in the article above they talk about triggering that response early to treat covid. It’s amazing what scientists have figured out BUT I hear that and all i can think of is the opening scene of I am Legend (Omega Man) where they talk about how they have basically cured cancer!
Give the article a read though, it is interesting where it is decephirable.
