cdavis I believe so, I seen them last year in the same spot but found them too late. It was dumb luck finding them again this year as I just went out yesterday to change the cards in my trail cam. Same stumps and tree where my cut trail is

Seeing anything interesting on the trail cams? I have not put mine out yet.

processhead a lot of activity! Most of it being does and fawns but do have quite a few bucks as well. Then the leaves and weeds came doing false triggers. Then the farmer let cattle graze off what he now plowed up and planted corn next to the woods(awesome bonus) so I got about 3000 photos of cows….lol. I need to get out there and trim but the boy borrowed my trimmer. Here is the biggest one so far, highly doubt I would harvest it. Need a better look once the velvet comes off.

twilliams We are also seeing a lot of does and fawns, which is great. Only a few bucks but they always seem to start showing up more in October.

Ridley Acres yes, you must be absolutely confident in what you are consuming in a wild mushroom along with other vegetation and berries

Ridley Acres Maybe find someone who already harvest mushrooms and have them go with you to check them out.

twilliams Very nice!I have never seen gold ones.I find them here but are white or grey. locally called hickory jacks .Very tasty indeed!

twilliams I still think those coordinates were a little off. I can’t see many trees from the sat photos.
