Looking for opinions on this machine for using as a meat mixer. I can purchase a used one for $500 with the dough hook only. It has a 20 qt bowl. Is it big enough for 25# batches. Any thoughts or opinions will be appreciated.

Brian Schneider i believe the mixer we use is 20 quarts and it will hold 25#. I’ll double check this week when we make more.

Brian Schneider Univex makes good equipment. For a home unit, it will outlast you and all parts are available. Only need the dough hook for the meat. It will hold 25 to 35 pounds.
