Departing Contestant Joe Hell good afternoon. My tastes in bourbon have swung to Rye. Rittenhouse is my sit-around and Knob Creek is the one nobody sees. I will transition to more beers and gin and tonics now that the weather is warmer.
we will have a bourbon club meeting at our national convention in July (if this virus is behind us) and I will send you some pictures. Please take care of yourself, be safe, and wash your filthy blood-stained hands -
Departing Contestant I’ve been into Rye lately myself. Old Forester and Dickel for daily drinking. Michter’s for special occasions…which is any time I pour some!
Joe Hell next time you are refilling check out the Rittenhouse. it came highly recommended by a “man in the know” and it is amazing especially for the price

Anybody drink the flavored vodkas? This is a tasty one -
@s-a-m Did you run out of booze and have to get into your wife/gf’s booze stash?

I went to a vodka tasting event a few years back. I was doing pretty good behaving myself. I got convinced to try some flavored varieties, bad decision. I can’t get near those flavored varieties without having a flashback.

The unaged rye for 100 proof is smooth also!!

Old Jim Tom! Used to love watching moonshiners. 1792 is a quality product.

John Gehringer I’ve been wanting one of those for sometime. They are just as pretty as they are useful!
Joe Hell Just one of three different ones I have. I have one 15 gallon s/s pot and one 15 gallon keg. Have refraction towers that I built that can go to eight feet, plus some other items to push the alcohol up. High octane lawn mower fuel is all I am licensed for.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Tonic has quinine fights off malaria, and the lime fights off skurvy. but my doctor will not prescribe it.mdseaside Yeah, been trying to convince my wife I need a daily dose as a Covid 19 preventative :face_savouring_delicious_food:
As I stated chloroquine is synthetic quinine -
@s-a-m I used to drink that one all the time! Along with Van Goh Vodka that was double expresso flavored…ugh if I tried that now it’d take me a week to recover.
