Great more choices. I have seen Cabin Fever at the stores, my son brought me over some Bird Dog that I will check out this weekend. I will keep an eye out for Rebel Yell, I haven’t seen it here on the shelves. Looks like I will be busy sampling.

Not heard of that one either. There are so many out there these day’s. Many people in the entertainment industry are attaching their names to products. With that and the hundreds and thousands of craft distillers out there it would be nearly impossible for a wholesaler to carry them all. Fighting for shelf space at the liquor stores is always an ongoing thing for our sales reps. They only have so much room.

I have had some pretty good stuff from some craft distilleries. Usually I don’t waste my time with Hollywood endorsement stuff, no skin in the game. There are some very good craft distilleries, breweries, cideries, meaderies, wineries, ect… out there that I have enjoyed. I am always on the lookout when I am traveling through an area and have been known to extend the trip because of the side excursions.

Hope everyone is safe. Prayers for the people in Jonesboro, Ark. Lots of Tornado warnings last night. Between the virus and the weather we all just need to pray everyday…

I thought I was the only one to do that sort of thing. I used to drink (maybe up to 40 years ago) tea in the Summer & Coffee in the Winter. Then I had the preference for Bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey in the Winter & Rum in the Summer. I have heard some say that the Gin in Tonic is the only thing that will actually quench your thirst.

Don’t forget Old Forester, either 80 proof or my favorite 100. Gentleman Jack is good for a Tennessee Whiskey as is single barrel.

Haven’t tried that one and it’s not exactly flying out of the warehouse. The original is good, the 1780 was exceptional but they quit making it and went to the Caskmates and IPA finished. They IPA one is collecting dust. The Black is also good.

Departing Contestant Joe Hell good afternoon. My tastes in bourbon have swung to Rye. Rittenhouse is my sit-around and Knob Creek is the one nobody sees. I will transition to more beers and gin and tonics now that the weather is warmer.
we will have a bourbon club meeting at our national convention in July (if this virus is behind us) and I will send you some pictures. Please take care of yourself, be safe, and wash your filthy blood-stained hands
