zbigjeff Surprised to hear read the beefalo story too as I thought that was about 30 years late. Yes, the diesel fuel has gotten absolutely ridiculous about like a lot of other things! It was just about back down to where it should be, at or below regular unleaded corn oil. Now, it is well over a dollar more than corn oil.

bocephus Yes, don’t even get me started tonight. I noticed about 35 years ago or so, when it was much cheaper than regular, that if I happened to have to stop in the middle of the big city where a lot of those Mercedes Benzes, etc. were driving around, that it was higher there. I always told my wife that was the reason. Then the normal price went up above regular in most places & it floored me. But, maybe it was still the market thing, that I have never been able to force myself to truly understand. Then they added the PITB stuff & now I am just beside myself. Don’t get me started. I still have a lot of work to do.

My guess is those gentlemen who swim in the buff with large catfish populations may want to think again about that habit. Looks like wieners make good bait.

bocephus I thought about it each time I had to buy a car. Then, I noticed the same jump. It’s the old supply/demand thing for sure.

Tex_77 Thanks for the updates Tex, the Beefalo was a hit here in the very early 80’s when a local rancher had a herd of them, but as soon as he left town the fad died just as quickly as it started.

EPA regulations… diesel started the climb when the EPA mandated the removal of sulfur slowly over the years until we ended up today with the ULSD. Sulfur is what gave the diesel the lubricity in the old days. I’ll say it again the gov’t is not your friend everything they touch turns into a pile of dung and/or a pile of cash in some politicians pocket.

I am sure imaginations would be running wild when a couple burley guys roll into the adult store with boat in tow and leave with a couple secret baits. 😂
