RON PARRISH those are not in bad shape and would be easy to clean up. Im not sure who makes the top one, it may be a Lodge. The bottom one is a Wagner Ware, which was made just up the road in Sidney, Ohio and is a collectable since they are no longer made. I have a few pieces from them. That looks like light surface rust so they would clean up easy. Just re-season them after cleaning them just like a skillet. If you ever want to get rid of them let me know.

GWG8541 That is one pan . pictures are of front and back sides. It has been sitting in the barn for years since my aunt left it to my mom. I just had to bring hospice in for mom so she doesnt need it .knowing her I know she would like some one who could use it to have it so you are welcome to it

Here are some cast iron parts from a sausage stuffer that I cleaned up yesterday using electrolysis.

The exterior of the tub still had some of the original painted artwork. I chose to leave it alone. Just a wash and oiled with white oil.

processhead Cleaned up nice. When I found one at the flea market years ago, I used a drill with a wire brush to clean it up, your way looks a whole lot easier.

processhead nice work! What is the electrolysis chem process for cast iron? Ive done silver cleaning with salt water, heat, and alum foil anode?cathode? Whichever attracts the oxide. Do you actually run a current on it, etc.
Thanks, very interested in your process errr…processhead! 😉

processhead nice work! What is the electrolysis chem process for cast iron? Ive done silver cleaning with salt water, heat, and alum foil anode?cathode? Whichever attracts the oxide. Do you actually run a current on it, etc.
Thanks, very interested in your process errr…processhead! 😉
