After clicking on all those other social media, Iβm wondering how much I am missing by using Meatgistics websit primarily? I donβt post much on Facebook or Instagram nor like to, since they use everything I post and you can never be sure they are showing you everything, or just what they want. I watch poscasts on the Meatgistics site too. Sooβ¦ what am I missing by not checking FB x2, Instagram, and Youtube every day, but just coming to Meatgistics and reading everything? Does everything get posted here also?

Dave in AZ Going forward you might be missing out on not checking out our social media accounts as I am doing the last interview tomorrow for a new position of Social Media Assistant. But in all honesty, right now, if you are following along here you are caught up! We do a Meat Hack Monday post that is pretty cool, we will be bringing back Meat Fact Friday and Seasoning Sunday where we post interesting Meat Facts and highlight a specific seasoning. Austin has been after me to restart Seasoning Sunday so I can tell everyone about his favorite new Seasoning Fire Cracker Rub.
So, hopefully we will start having fresh content on our social media accounts and more interaction. To be 100% honest we stopped paying attention to it, and in retrospect that was a bad idea. We prioritized other things that I do think were more important (website and this site) but we should have at least stayed more active. We have also been directing people here, or to our Customer Service Department and we will start responding directly to customers through social media again.

Ridley Acres had the good idea of doing a giveaway of some sort for members only, couldnβt initially figure it out through Gleam BUT, trying did give me the idea to add a sign up function to the giveaway. People can EASILY cheese it but hopefully we will get a percentage of them to actually follow through sign up.
So, how to restrict to meatgistics members only? Well, create a category that will have posts that can only be seen by logged in members!
Couple of thoughts on what it could become, let me know which people like. Of course, Austin input can trump anything we think of:
- We start this on the 1st of every month, make a daily entry option, then when we do our monthly livestreams the giveaway I have posted here becomes the main giveaway for the live stream, so Meatgistics members can have around 30 (or so) more entries than the casual viewer. Also, if the winning draw comes from a daily entry from this Meatgistics entry the winner doesnβt need to be there.
- A monthly βgift certificateβ would act as a gift certificate but actually be a coupon code for a certain $ off.
- A rotating gift package of seasoning, casings, apparel, things like that.
