I know of a guy who made his own. He used some copper pipe which he soldered to a flat piece of copper which he cut in a circle. The tube was at least 12" long. Used this on an old Enterprise stuffer. It worked.PapaSop said in Stuffing Tubes for snack sticks 12" long:

I have already ordered the stainless steel tubing but having a hard time figuring out how to make a nice tapered attachment to 2 1/8” dia. Already thought of stainless steel fender washers but would like some taper.

Incorporating a taper would be tough to do. That is beyond my ability.
Only option I can think of is to find some other stainless fitting that has a taper and then refit it to do what you are wanting, -
Does a taper really do anything from a mechanical standpoint? To my thought it would introduce more shear forces in there on the meat, than just a straight 10mm exit hole?

I’m not sure a taper really adds much. I experimented with making these around 15 years ago. The tubing I had access to at the time was 12.5 mm OD and 9.5 mm OD.
I gave up on trying the smaller 9.5 mm OD tube because there was just too much resistance while stuffing to make it practical for use.
The larger tube is much better but the smallest casing I can get over it is the 19 mm collagen casings, but I am fine with that.
The larger tube is the one that has gotten all the use since I made it. The smaller one just stays in the drawer.

akdave to make small diameter stuffing tubes I used a golf club shaft. Cut off the head and slip on the casing to determine the piece of tube you need then silver solder it to a stainless fender washer. The tube is thin wall and chromed. Best use of a golf club I know of.

Great idea never thought of that and I agree about the golf club. I bought my stainless tubing on internet very cheap. I was worried about no taper with the fender washer but you are the 2nd person who has done it with a fender washer so it must work. Thanks for the reply

Austin just mentioned about the increased resistance the longer you get with a stuffing tube so I will see I really like the idea of putting a whole length of casing on the tube when making snack sticks. Will see and let you all know

Austin is correct. There is no free lunch and that is the price of a longer tube. Probably more noticeable with the smaller diameter tubes too.

I hope the additional 5” in length will not be that much additional resistance. Will let you all know. With the turntable and a large stainless steel bowl I should be able to do almost a whole 25 lb batch with one string of casing
