I am interviewing Larry Goering tomorrow for the podcast. Larry has spoken at Walton’s Open Houses in previous years with an eye towards plant design through Process Systems, LLC, which he is the President of. He is very well known in the industry and has been with Process Systems since 1998.
Let me know if there are specific questions you’d like me to ask him. I plan on talking to him about changes in plant design, updates to the slaughtering facilities, whats going on with ranchers starting to team up to open processing plants and other industry news.

Jonathon, I would be interested in suggestions for small producers looking to get into the industry that don’t have large enough budget for a hog scald/dehair machine, but yet have market for skin on products.

I mentioned in a topic about changing the name of “conversions” to conversions and charts. Where charts would contain non editable charts for users. An example would be the USDA lethality/temp chart. Someone could topic a chart for inclusion and worthy Jonathan or Austin could place it in conversions and charts.
