I can’t see any reason why I personally would ever need a smokehouse that can handle 100 lbs of summer sausage. I would be interested in a smaller one for around $1200 to $1400 anyone else?

marzig20 when they say 100lbs of meat they use that term very loosely. The cabin on the inside of the pk100 is pretty small. I bet you would only get 25lbs of snack sticks in it and it would be full. Summer sausage, if you know how to stack it to be the most efficient and run 3 lb logs then maybe get close to 100lbs but I doubt it. Being so full it would take an extended period of time to finish more than usual, but you could Sous vide to finish like several others are doing.

twilliams Sounds like a gun safe, yeah its advertised as holding 24, but in reality you are only getting 12 in there.

marzig20 if you keep looking you may be able to find a used one . Cabelas actually sold a pk50. Depending on what I was going to be making all the time I am not sure I would be wanting much less then the pk100 size. I have a cookshack sm025 which is supposed to be the “25 lb” capacity but I can just fit 5 lbs of sticks in it. And that’s laying on the racks. You can not hang anything in this small smoker
