Walton mixer attach to Cabela’s grinder?

I have not used mine a bunch, maybe three times total. but figure if it breaks, I will tig weld it back together with a better weld than factory. No biggie to me.

Dont think so. The cabelas mixer will fit it but can be hard to find. The problem is the carnivore grinder has a different hole size where the grinder head attaches to the motor. Dont remember the measurement offhand. I have done lots of research on this but eventually bought the cabelas mixer.
smokinbubba I thought someone stated that the carnivore would match up with the new Waltons mixer. Anyone else remember, or maybe send Jonathan the dimensions for your carnivore and maybe he could measure their mixer to see.

I dont think the Walton mixer will fit the cabelas grinder. The “Hub” of the cabelas grinder is 2.5". I believe the Waltons mixer is 2". By Hub, I mean the hole where you insert the grinder to the motor and tighten the knob bolt.

kking yes I ordered a 50lb meat mixer from Waltons and it mated up perfectly with my #22 Cabelas Carnivore grinder. My grinder is about 3 years old. If you do end up getting one I’d wait until they do there 12 days of Christmas sale it was like $50 or $100 off regular price last year. They did sell out fast though so that is a gamble you have to take. If you would like you can text me and I can get you more accurate measurements this evening when I get home. 406-799-9721. I tried posting a review on it with pictures and all on the website but they would never post it and I tried about 4 different times because I new a lot of people were wondering this same question.

Ridley Acres thank you. I ordered it the other day while it was on sale. It’s coming, but I just didn’t know if it would fit or not. I’m pretty good at tearing things up to make it fit and did want to do that this go around. I have pretty much switch all my processing stuff over to Waltons just not the grinder.

OutdoorCharlie I would love to see the measurements. I was told the Waltons is 2" and the Cabelas is 2.5" I don’t mind being wrong if it benefits others!

Can anyone tell me if the Walton’s 50lbs meat mixer will attach to the Cabela’s #42 grinder.
kking Please keep us informed if it fits your 42. This is good info. I asked Jon if their mixer would fit a carnivore and he said he didnt have one to test.

smokinbubba No slop. Just line up your spline slip it in and then tighten down your set screw knob. At least that’s what I do. I’m making 100lbs of venison salami today. Half with H- Summer and Ghost pepper high temp cheese and the other half H-Summer with high temp Chedder cheese and diced jalapeños.
