My cousin and his wife shot these two studs from the same blind within 5 minutes of one another last weekend here in Kansas. His wife is also 7 months pregnant…

cdavis i am looking forward to seeing a few of those hanging vertical soon. Clock is ticking and I am in need of some middle of nowhere time.
YooperDog I had a couple more nice bucks show up in the last few days. Hopefully 1 of them will be hanging vertically in a few more days.

bocephus yea all night time pictures so far but they have started staying till almost daylight. So I’m hoping that 1 of them will just start staying a little bit longer. It’s still nice to know that they are in the area.

cdavis I thought some of yall might enjoy seeing this. I just finished mounting one of my bow kills from last year. It’s called a pack out mount. I put it on a pack frame like you would pack one out from a remote area.

cdavis nice looking mount. Definitely a unique way to present it… I like it, my wife probably not so much. Will look good in your man cave.

cdavis I have not seen that style of mount before. Interesting.

cdavis for some reason I just can’t get into the pack mounts. Yours is the first one I have seen with the blanket and old style canteen. Pretty cool. Do you know what forms you use? I have not seen them with that kind of muscular detail. Or does your taxidermist sculpture the form more from the factory to get that detail?
