                  bocephus well I am not old enough to have used them, yes I know what they are, what they look like, etc., I am from the cassette generation.

                                  Think about those ancient times and then think about how today we can stream jsut about any music into our cars we want off the internet.

                                  My, how far we have come.

                                  I am glad meat processing technology moves at a decidedly slower pace.

                                        Well, I guess one step further back was my first car and an AM radio with just three bad stations on it. That made having an 8 track player and a couple decent speakers seem like pretty high living.

                                          I can remember doing the big upgrade on my 73 Gran Torino from the 8 Track to a cassette. It may be hard to believe but cassette tapes were a technological advancement at one time. Man I wish I still had that car.
