cdavis I like looking at it too. It would be fun to look at one list to see what everyone does. Funny how so many diverse professions can have one thing in common.
kyle yes I would like to see it one list it’s really interesting to me.

cdavis Thank you, it was very interesting work, but sometimes dealing with the government makes you realize why a hammer can cost $300.

Deepwoodsbutcher I mean you are from the state up north, so naturally “Go Blue”! Man that hurts to say.

I really enjoyed this topic but no one has posted here in quite a while so I thought I would try to resurrect it. We have so many new community members I hope some of them will share a little about themselves. Hope it works.

cdavis great idea! I was just thinking about doing this also. Glad you beat me to it.

I agree. Let’s get this ball rolling again! We’ve added hundreds of new Meatgistics members, so let us know what you do/did for a profession. Also, don’t forget to put yourself on the MAP!

I don’t think I ever added myself in this thread.
I am a Director at a self-regulatory organization for the US derivatives market - specifically OTC Derivatives (Swaps Dealers). My team is responsible for all system development and project management as well as data analytics and reporting for my department. My department is only 10 or so years old and was formed to implement the regulatory program for Swaps under the Dodd-Frank Act. The company also regulates futures/commodity registrants and also provides regulatory services for some contract markets. My education is Accounting but most of my work experience is in IT development after a start doing Compliance Audit.

Ha! Guess we are doing our part to ensure that movie doesn’t have a sequel!
