What does everyone do for a profession?

when you retire you will be just as busy if not more then you will wounder how did all this get done before ?
craigrice While I still do special event caterings and such, I’m busier than I have ever been. More projects around the house, more sausage, more baking, just more everything. No joking, I work harder now then when I had the everyday job.

Chef Ditto, it is amazing! I am so far behind I don’t even know where the beginning is anymore.

Retirement: get up, coffee, news, breakfast, try to remember what I was going to get done today, whoops, lunchtime, man I need beer and a nap, wow it’s dinnertime already, I’ll do it tomorrow, watch the news, tomorrow, wake up, repeat

Rutinbuck Ahhhh, you need to go fishing. Don’t let all that other stuff get in the way of fishing.
calldoctoday just a warning,over 60 years ago I went to university to become a teacher and found out I could get paid to go fishing. I buggered the best hobby I ever had and made it a career. Been retired for 27 years and got my fingers crossed the border opens and I can go to Alaska and fish for sockeyes

Brianzipperdog123 I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I have still never made it to Alaska yet. But, I did make it to British Columbia about 20 years ago & the Fishing was fantastic (Chinook, I think it was Sockeye, but it might have been Coho now that I am remembering for a second, & Halibut. The whole experience was wonderful & I sure do hope I can make it back or better yet, Alaska some day. I will keep my fingers crossed for you too!

We have had some very interesting projects come through the shop over the years. It is a challenging profession but it’s anything but cool.
