I have not tried it yet. Describe what you like about it.

processhead i dont like it, its too hot for me. I dont mind a little heat in a snack stick as that is typically chilled in a fridge, but in a brat when its already hot from cooking then have hot from seasoning puts it over the top for me

This is a really good brat. On my palate it does have a little heat on the backend but very very flavorful.

On many sausage styles over the years people have gotten creative with the ingredients and flavor profile. Brats are probably one of the best examples and sausages labeled brats can contain any ingredient from fruit to nuts.
I don’t have a problem with experimenting with new flavors and ingredients and some of them can be very good. Sometimes it makes it complicated to discuss the flavor of a sausage that goes by a one name with a prefix and can taste like almost anything .

Thanks for the responses guys, really what i was trying to do is find a Waltons/Meatgistics family member to take my left over seasoning. My family dont care for the heat so instead of just throwing it away i would send it to the first person that was willing to take it. Tex_77 was the lucky winner. Shipping it to him tomorrow after work.

Call me old fashioned, but I like my sausages savory and my skittles in the little red bag.

I classify some of those formulations as novelty brats. Somebody makes a batch figuring some back yard griller will try them at least once to show to their buddies.

twilliams I haven’t had a chance to try yet it but I’d like to. You could alway try ‘diluting’ with fresh ingredients. Maybe sautéed mild peppers, onions or mushrooms…all of the above? I will often add up to 30% fresh ingredients to my brats with great results!
