Woodwind 24" pellet grill

So, second reverse sear was much better than 1st. Started the grill at 160 and it stabilized at 158, it held almost exactly there for 20 minutes, then I kicked it up to 200 and it stayed right at 195. Oddly it never seemed to deviate from that temp. The next test is to out some thermometers in there and see how accurate the internal temp monitor actually is. Last pic is of the steak that I used the searbox.
Lastly the shutdown process timer starts at 20 minutes…seemed a little long to me but my old pellet grill didn’t time itself so maybe that was the same?

Still learning it a little. With this sear box I am finding that I need to stop a decent amount earlier than I normally would on my reverse sear. Normally I start on the old pellet grill around 200, then I take it off once my steak ios around 115 then hold the steak while the grill gets as hot as possible and the grill grates heat up even further. With how I do it now it is going straight from the pellet grill to the searbox so I probably need to stop closer to 95°. Lessons learned are valuable but still, this was an excellent strip!
