Summer sausage no flavor

    Been using walton products for 3 years now, made summer sausage with half deer and hog. Everything came out great, but when it came to taste there was nothing. I actually used 2 oz more than it was called for. The best to use was 12/20, it was a unopened bag. never had this happen anyone out there have any ideas? When mixing, it smelled great, could I’ve cooked out the flavor?

            Had the same problem with the summer sausage and bloody mary mix. The summer sausage was edible but it was very bland, the bloody mary sticks went to the trash. The Italian sausage, Polish sausage, Mex sticks and Holly have all been pretty good products. I add extra pepper to them and fresh garlic to the Polish
