Water activity Meter

Any suggestions on an affordable water activity meter? They all seem quite pricey.

Per Jonathon a quality one will set you back in the ballpark of $1k, so i don’t think you are going to find a cheap one that works well.

Blippo Tex_77 is correct. I researched this because I love new toys, but it was way outside reasonable unless you were planning on selling $1000.00’s a week. And that included used ones listed on eBay.

Blippo I want to say Joe Hell found one somewhere for around 400. Joe, am I right? Other than that yes, they will be $1000. What are you wanting to do with it? You might be able to use one from a local university that has a meat lab if you are just trying to confirm something just once.
