I tried to enter time and time again and it would not let me enter. So sad. They need to make it easier to enter. Like having a link to push right on the live stream. Sad that I spent a month wainting for live stream. Then when it finally comes on and instead of enjoying the show, you are trying to jump to different sites and “.coms” to enter to win and at the last minutes. Real unfair to us older people. I am just not good with the set up the way it is. Let’s make this easier fellows.

I am on the fringe for connectivity, not much for service, every so often there is a hiccup or delay in the signal, or it drops to 3G or worse 1X. But I didn’t have a problem connecting.

I could connect to live stream just wasn’t ease to connect to the place to make your entry to win.

I agree with Little Baby Teddy that trying to enter to win detracted from trying to enjoy the main event. I spent all my time trying to register and failed. I’m not a complete bumbler when it comes to computers (except to my son who is a computer programmer with a Computer Science Masters degree). Nonetheless I was extremely disappointed in trying to register on 2 different devices and found that I couldn’t do it. Oh well, so it goes. I’ll just quit trying, which will help the odds for all of the rest of you

Thank you very very much. I agree with you. I had the same problem. They have made it hard to register a entry and watch the live stream at the same time. Nice to know I am not the only one having this problem. Plus I too am also done with trying. I am a good customer and have bought equipment from Waltons

Thank you YoopeeDog. I didn’t have any problem connecting either. For me, connectivity wasn’t the issue; the primary issue was the difficulty in entering the giveaway, nor the website. The link worked great for me to enter the website discussion. Registration (entering) for the giveaway was the problem. And clearly I am not the only one who had this issue. This situation also meant that several users who wanted to participate in the main event spent all, our time in frustration trying to use the website function of registering for the giveaway. It is so great that Jonathan and the crew even have the giveaway lottery, So for that, kudos to Walton’s! And congratulations to the winners!
Some of us just had unnecessary frustration, and I don’t think that Is what Walton’s would have wanted. -
It seems like youtube has been having livestreaming issues recently. Sadly, there really isn’t an alternative service that offers the same functionality.

Jonathon Thank you for hearing us and trust me there are more people. Its not connecting to the live stream thats the problem. It’s trying to connect to the drawing entry while connected to live stream. It will not let you do it. Please make it easier to like a link to push while watching live stream. Not fair not being able to enter the drawings… The problem makes good customers turn away. Just being honest and just saying my friend.

Thank you, Jonathan. Would there be alternatives such as Zoom that might work for the informative sessions and then a simple sign up at Walton’s? Maybe separating the two: the live stream and the entry, would work? I am not being critical of YouTube, but I don’t think that it was designed to efficiently do these two tasks simultaneously, and it is just so darned frustrating. They wanted private information to proceed with the entry process (birthdate) which is highly unusual and certainly unnecessary. I imagine the reason is for marketing other products. Really, does Walton’s care if I am 31 or 51? Other sites do, so my name and birthdate can be sold to marketers. Is that what Walton’s wants?
So back to my original point, isn’t it possible to find a better way, rather than just deferring to a process, Youtube, that “had problems”? I think those problems reflect unnecessarily and badly on Walton’s -

Robb Most contest/giveaways require that you be 18 years of age or older, they can’t verify your age, if they don’t have your date of birth. Yes I understand you can just put in whatever date you want, but that is why they are collecting the information. I doubt Walton’s is selling your information to anyone.
