Since I’m trying to lose weight (down below 280 now) I’ve been pretty much a water guy for months. When I splurge a little its Ultras. When its company business with someone else buying I’ll go for a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale every time.

these are three very good 90-105 calorie beers that taste like a real beer. Don’t waste life on “LITE” beers -

I was raised in the Delta area of Nor Cal. The farmers changed from row crops to vineyards in 1967 & now there are some of the best wines around produced in my home town of Clarksburg. Bogle, Muddy Boot, Silt, Heringer Estates to name a few. So I’ve got to say wine is my favorite drink and a nice single malt Scotch whiskey like Laphroaig is on my list too. On hot days a Bombay gin & tonic is great for a cool off.

macsinsac I highly recommend some wine from Walla Walla! When I started in the industry we had 7 wineries and I worked for all of them within a few years. When my parents and I started our winery 10 years later we were number 63 in the valley. By the time closed in 2014 there were easily 150 wineries locally…in a town if 35k that’s a whole lot of booze per capita!

All of the above except the Coors. MGD for many years now. Guinness and several Leinenkugel craft beers at times. Honeyweiss, Northwoods Lager, Red Lager and Oktoberfest. Quit mixing some time ago. All on the rocks. Oops, forgot Jameson and Basil Hayden’s and Buffalo Trace. Could go on but…Being in the wholesale liquor business has it’s advantages.PapaSop I make my own beer and IPAs are my favorite.

@Jägermeister Nice - I’m an IPA lover and avid brewer. What do you have ready? I have a Munich Helles and an old school American Pale Ale on tap with NEIPA, Czech Dark Lager and an oatmeal stout fermenting.

Jonathon s request, please list your drink of choice. I’ll start, I love bourbon and Coors Light or a good old Coors yellow belly. My bourbons of choice are Elijah Craig, Bulliet, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam Black and W.L. Wellers. Now if I just want to pound down some drinks a good 7&7 can’t be beat.

Tex_77 They closed off Highway 11 near Pendleton and Highway 12 near Touchet. There was flooding on areas of the Walla Walla River. Mill Creek which runs through the middle of Walla Walla in flood prevention channels is scary right now. I’ve never seen it so high. The Sexton is a single malt Irish Whiskey and it’s quite nice. The Sazerac may be my new favorite. It’s very smooth for a 90% spirit. I struck out on scoring some Weller. Apparently the local store can only order 3 bottles at a time and they are lucky to see that.

Joe Hell I’d probably down one of those bottles and get yourself a canoe or raft, with a nice big Team-Blue flag on it and ride the rapids!
