pk 100 information

    I appreciate all comments about the pk100 and cord. I was able to get the smoker to 250 on both cords and also connected to the wall directly. I agree about the use of the cord and will try to avoid them in the future. I never thought about gauge or length and that all makes since. That is possibly why the smoker wouldn’t climb Saturday. Still leaves me with the question of why the PK temp went up hightr when I opened the dampers, maybe just coincidental. Either way try no cord if possible or if a cord is needed get a heavier guage wire and short as possible. Thanks to all. I’ll post results next time I use the smoker. This group is awesome, thanks to all
