Was about to place an order which includes high temp cheese. With the weekend coming up would it be better to wait until Monday? Not sure how it’s handled during warmer months. Thanks.

PapaSop We automatically hold cheese orders until Monday, if it would otherwise sit over the weekend in a UPS warehouse/truck somewhere. So, if you order today, or Monday, both would just ship out on Monday, unless you are in Kansas or Oklahoma because those are 1 day delivery states for us.

Placed the order late Monday afternoon on 6/11. Arrived today, 6/13 early afternoon. That’s a very good turn around. After opening I put a thermometer in between the cheese packets (I was curious). Result was 65 deg. This is perfectly acceptable. In fact the entire rest of my order was all in the styrofoam shipper. Not sure how it would handle say mid summer temps though. A suggestion would be to freeze the cheese before shipping. Perhaps you already do. Freezing will definitely not hurt it any. Again, thanks for the prompt service.

PapaSop 65 is within ‘cellar temp’ range so all is good. It’s not truly summer yet though. It gets brutally hot here in the summer so I refrain from ordering perishables but if there is an option for dry ice I will gladly pay the up charge!

Joe Hell and then when it gets there the fun begins with dry ice, everthing with water gets a chunk
