The Rubicon started the craze to personalize and name your jeep. Over the years I’ve seen all sorts. I kindof think it’s silly to decal name your vehicle in a similar way that the factory did with the rubicon by decaling it where the “rubicon” would be. Well I got in on it in an ironic way, and to each their own m. If you feel like naming your jeep “punisher” well I guess that is your business. My Jeep is bone stock other than a front bumper and is the “sport” trim so I had some made up for the upcoming Jeep Night at Steerman Field. Hey guys, if you post something, or see something posted that you think would be good for social media please tag it with #socialmedia That way we can easily see what you guys want to see us post over there. We are going to try to focus mostly on sausage making and jerky, things that are our core base but I know steaks and bbq are loved as well!

On the bright side, it was the closest I’ve seen Austin & Jon to being in sync.

@bocephus I have seen some of those rigs and the in-laws own one. Just not real keen about driving across the ice with that much weight. I have seen to many vehicles sink below. But they are sweet rigs.

@papasop We don’t buy the extra permits either, there are between 4 and 6 of us and if we get 3 or 4 deer we are usually pretty happy. Some years we didn’t even hunt the last couple of days of the season.

@farmy We can do 10" slicers if we have enough coming soon to replenish stock. @processhead Even when we do our big holiday sales @austin will only let casings go for 1 day! @Dfryer Vacuum sealers might be tricky, at least until we have a better feel for how difficult those will be to get in.

@Joe-Hell Yup, be careful with your food and burry anything that needs to be buried. I always go back to the scene in the movie “The Edge” with Anthony Hopkins and the Bear in Alaska where he finds out that Baldwins character didn’t burry the bloody rag and then they hear the bear. Now, that doesn’t make a ton of sense as the guy is still bleeding all over the place but still! Does anyone remember tiger mosquitos? I am sure they were a thing like 10 years ago and I am fairly certain I saw one on my dog this weekend and MAN are they big!

@jonathon said in Paul Harvey: Yeah, great song though…I don’t like country style music! I like Johnny, Merl and Willie. When guys like Keith Urban started becoming popular my interest in in dropped. it became more Pop, and I don’t hate pop but it’s not what country music was. Since we are listing Music allow me to recommend smith and Meyers acoustic sessions https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mB1rfyMtEky7wWIkMm08CS3XKrDYyGBFY This is the lead singer and the guitarist from a band called Shine Down. They were more hard rock but these sessions are all acoustic and show off his voice. Highly recommend! Don’t even get me started on music. Argh. Having grown up in the late '50s, '60s and '70s when the greatest music that was ever written and performed across all genres. Today’s…? Perhaps if I grew up now I’d understand. @Jonathon after clicking on that link and listening to all four covers, well done. Here’s another example. My son brought this to my attention a few years ago. Not knowing them, but a different cover. This song is kinda sacred to me in a way but well done. https://youtu.be/usN-pKfw6Q8 Been enjoying some YT videos recently with older bands using an orchestra behind them. Just adds some more depth to the original version. Sh$$. Rambling… Sorry… Done now.

@processhead The shaggy mane that come up in the fall are tasty but I’ve read that they could pose a problem for those that regularly indulge in alcohol. I prefer whiskey over yard fungus. Lol
