        1 Fluid Oz of water weighs 1 Oz. The weight and volume measurement for water is the same .

            NickMc Note that this applies ONLY to water.
            One fluid ounce (volume measurement) of any other liquid or solution could weight more or less than 1 ounce (weight measurement), depending on its density.
