I’m sitting at the airport in Chicago after flying a redeye flight from Anchorage. Alaska is an amazing place. I will post more later after I get some sleep. Jonathon, yes we saw brown bears! We actually had a young male about 10 feet from our boat fishing salmon. I represented some Walton’s gear too while I was on the Kenai Fjords tour. I snapped a selfie at a glacier.

It is wild to watch them surfing it, when it occurs. The tides in the cook inlet are some of the most extreme water changes in the world.

When we drove back to Anchorage it was low tide because there was very little water out there. It was pretty crazy to see.

I can’t remember the name of the inlet (it may be Seward something). Aka: The Tide comes into the inlet at around 8-10 foot high and fills the inlet within 10-15 mins with water that started out as mud after the tide “went out”. I understand how tides work. But, watching the tide up there in AK just floored me.

If it is real strong stuff, like shark, etc. add a little bit of yeller mustard & that makes it great. Makes some salmon more greater!
