Then bought more 6.5 (ouch) and .22 mag as well, have more than enough 9mm and a little .380 for my wife handgun.

I try to avoid impulse purchases and do at least a bit of homework on stuff. I hate the buzz kill when something I think I want real bad turns out to be something other than what I was expecting.

What I settled on was a x1-x4 variable power scope with a lighted reticule.

It isn’t a high end name brand but is pretty bright and is gave me the versatility I was after.

The pictures I struggled to take with my phone show the reticule in daylight and a dim room with the reticule lit in the indoor picture and turned off in the outdoor picture.
The reticule light intensity is adjustable.
