Although I know the intentions and thoughts are good, how ever today (Memorial Day) is to recognize and remember the fallen soldiers and the sacrifices that were made. It is a somber day of remembrance. I don’t see it as a “Happy” day. Veterans Day is more of a celebration and recognition for their service. Independence Day is a day of celebration for our nationhood.
