So, I was in MT when I saw a text from @j-michael-cominskie alerting me to a sale on the Dalstrong 17" Tuna Slicing blade. They were offering some money back if you bought the sword…sorry knife and sent them the order #. It was sort of pricey but I was already buying raffle tickets and other fun things at the show so I was in the mood to spend money on “frivolous” things. Well…it did NOT disappoint! This thing will eventually end up in my weapons room at my house, but it is going to live here for a while so I can show it off on podcasts and some videos.

Even the packaging they came in is top notch. I own a boning knife and a breaking knife. They would look great with that sword. I mean tuna knife.

They were giving them away with raffle tickets for the guns so Austin and I both got one, and we both had no clue what we would use it for since we have the Tru-Hone but it seems like the Work Sharp we got might work better as it can do single bevels.

I have two single bevels, a Deba and a Yanagiba, I rarely use them because I don’t fish much.
If I ever have to sharpen them I’ll probably cheat and use my Wicked Edge LOL
