<![CDATA[Using Witts Flavormost Seasoning]]>I ran into my retired German butcher this weekend. He used to make the best smoked venison summer sausage. He told me that his “secret seasoning” was Flavormost. Waltonsinc has it in a case of 5-5lb bags for about $54. Does anyone have any experience with this seasoning to be able to give me an idea of how much Flavormost might go into 25 lbs or even 100 lbs of summer sausage? I am trying to get an idea how far 25# of this seasoning would go before I drop an order for it. Thanks a lot!

Use: To suit taste.
a little can go a long way
MSG is generally used 2 to 5 oz to 100 lbs of product.

I was talking to a butcher this weekend and he told me their family store used to use witts bratwurst seasoning and that they were bought out. Hope this helps.

I cannot even locate anyone else that handles Witts FlavorMost, except Waltons. I am sure the information is out there somewhere, but it just may take a bit of time and effort to dig it out. Steve, it sure seems odd that a product sold in bulk like this would come with no instructions. I did a search and couldn’t even find a picture of the package to check if it had instructions on the packaging???

Usually Walton’s has instructions for products on the web site, but I see they do not for this one.
I would call customer service at Walton’s.
