Doesn’t mean it couldn’t be done in an emergency but it isn’t the easiest way to do it.

I used to know some folks that could have done it for me in Texas, but I am not sure where we are now. I will have to look into it. I really appreciate it. Or of course, if we were to get that lucky, I would be thrilled to do a building inspection in Wichita & make the trip to pick it up, that would be amazing. I wonder though what it would involve getting the FFL, even if I am not buying & selling any weapons. I am pretty much 99 9/10 certain I would qualify, but probably a cost issue.

Around here I have seen fees from 25 to 50 latley for transfers. Im luck enough to know a few that will do it for me at no cost. The store or person ends up being the record holder of that weapon sale, so the fee is to make the time and paperwork worth their while.

I am picky about donating or supporting anything, but this is a worthwhile organization that:

  • Makes a difference in the lives of young people
  • Promotes hunting and outdoor sports

These are two things I whole heartedly believe in so if I donate and don’t win, it was money well spent.

I know that some people here who have won multiple times did significantly more than that, so this year, I upped my chances. Didn’t go too crazy but I bought more than just 3. Part f that is because I also see it as a donation to a good organization. I’m not having kids so i feel like I need to do SOME stuff to support raising kids to want to hunt and like guns.
