<![CDATA[What does "unit" indicate for Waltons seasonings.]]>I was digging through my most recent order and I started wondering what the word unit indicates for some of the products. As in I have “Salami Unit (No MSG)” and “Wisconsin Summer Unit”.

Is it that it has the CSS and dextrose already in it?

If the letter isn’t specified, it looks like it’s assumed to be a B Unit for 25# of meat.

I have seen that and wondered the same thing?
Might have something to do with a standardized “unit” or batch size for that particular seasoning.
