I can deal with the snow, but the ice sucks with the truck, I can’t get enough weight on the rear end to keep traction, take about 1,500 lbs. over the rear axle to get a grip on ice with the traction tires even. Glad it’s gone now, warmed up to 41 degrees and rain. Normal weather for the NW.

Both are 8 years newer than my old 1999 Lund 1950 Grand Sport. Both are 2007 Lund 1950 Tyee with the same motors and kicker motors. Everything is the same except, one had jump seats in the back rear corners (Grand Sport) and the other one did not (Magnum). I had called Green Bay on a Fri and was told it was contractually sold on the night before. So I bought the one that was close to home here, the Magnum. To my surprise the boat doesn’t even have enough hours on the main motor to even say it is broke in yet! 43.5 hours on it, 50 is considered broke in. The previous owner bought it before retiring but then took sick. He passed away and the widow hadn’t dealt with it until a couple of years later. Well lookie what I found!
