Dr_Pain Hey, you were with me during my rehab and I will be with you during yours. Some days it’s all about 1 hour at a time. Give Liz a hug from me for her efforts.

She was my rock during the process and now she is relinquished to being my sugar mama, since I am not allowed to go back to work yet. I will definitely give her a hug for you.

Dr_Pain Agree with your “importance” and that you are now able to at least starting to get back on that bike of life. Wishing the healing goes as planned. Yep, we all missed you during your time away.

“The bike of life”. I love bike riding but this won’t be in my near future unfortunately. I do get the analogy though. The same as any long bike ride it takes effort, dedication, focus …… and time. It is incredible to me the support I have received from you guys. I do owe you a debt of gratitude

Dr_Pain It is great to have you back & better to hear that you are doing much better. We will be gladdest to hear that you have made a full recovery, but a little at a time is perfectly fine for now, so long as you are getting better.

From where I was to where I am, I have to call it a miracle. I still have another surgery in my future but I do not anticipate that it will be as drastic and traumatic as the second one. Thanks for all the support

Thanks! I do owe part of my recovery to you guys. It was heart warming to get PMs (even though I did not read them until recently…. I did get the notification my wife would tell me about), the cards and the calls. You guys rock!

Thanks for the continued prayers. They do help! As the expression goes: An idle mind is the devil’s playground! Well the prayers help avoid most of that. It is incredible the number of times that the worse scenario plays in your help in those times

Thank you Bob! It starts with baby steps, followed by more steady steps, followed by some jogging and finished by a nice little run. I am still in baby step mode. It is kinda overwhelming at times but I work the problem with all of your support and prayers of speedy recovery. I am looking at another surgery in a few months but should not be as bad as the second.

Dr_Pain Glad to “see” you again! Thought about you and your family often over the holidays. Glad you were able to be home for it. Looking forward to the potential PSA post.
