I think the real winners here are our friends and family, since they get to actually taste and benefit from the cooking. I look at what everyone prepares on this site and think how awesome and fun it is to be a part of it. This little competition has probably caused everyone to step up their game and expand their comfort zone when cooking. I literally tripped across Walton’s site and Meatgistics about a year ago trying to make my venison sausage processing better. Who knew what started out as looking for some summer sausage seasoning, would end up finding as PapaSop says " a community".
