Maybe if they were made like the endless garbage bags or diaper genie. Or is this actually a bad idea.</p>

<p dir="auto">Ordering like 250 or 500 at a time would be nice, or hell, I could get by ordering 100. Not sure the cost savings would make it worth it though.</p>

Even small/medium size processors will use these long tubes. Generally, a vacuum stuffer portions the meat into the long tubes and either the bags are clipped manually or automatically, depending on the equipment used. Essentially, the suffer feeds directly to the clipper machine which clips and cuts the tube.</p>

You can tell it was done in a long tube because each end is pinched off and hog ringed. The packages are 1.5 lbs. There is a little bit of exposed pinched meat on each end.<br />

<p dir="auto">Interesting thought. Makes sense, but. Now you have to seal both ends instead of one.<br />
Which reminds me to add hog rings to the list.<br />
