I am looking at a rifle that is good for deer and possibly Elk. Right now I am looking between 7mm, 30-06, or 6.5 Creedmoor. I don’t care much about preserving for the mount, more concerned with the ability to possibly go after larger game.

Hopefully I am not about to start a riot.

Usually spent a week with him in the summer after I moved away, just he and I and talked about so much. My siblings were surprised at the stories I told them after he passed. Many friends say that I am a lot like him now and I take that with deep respect.

I had a conversation yesterday about walking the path God sets out for us. I love the word “walk”. As a parent, when our kids are learning to “walk” do we get mad when they take 2 steps and fall? No sir, we are excited about the progress they make, not their falls. The same is with God…

The only person that ever walked the path straight was Jesus, and even He questioned it. For me, my goal is to veer off the path He has for me less, and see that I am off the path sooner so I can get back on it.
