<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Vintage Brinkmann Smoker and Grill]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">I found this old picture I took just after I repainted my Brinkmann Cimarron  Offset smoker and matching grill with high temperature paint. I think I got them 10 years ago and I would guess they were at least that old before I got them.</p>
<p dir="auto">What  impressed me about them was their construction.<br />
They are both built of 3/16 wall steel pipe and are identical with the exception of the fire box and bigger wheels on the smoker.  They are heavy as hell and never stray far from my patio for that reason.</p>
<p dir="auto">Since I took the picture, I made a modification to the smoker. I added a baffle plate in the bottom and moved the stack to the opposite end to reverse the flow of heat through the smoking chamber for more even heating.</p>
<p dir="auto">Looking at them recently, I can see they are both due for fresh coat of paint.<br />
I have no doubt they will still be grilling and smoking long after I am gone.</p>

They have however been out of production for many years and Brinkmann declared chapter 11 in 2015</p>
<p dir="auto">Most of the the medium-sized horizontals sold today  are stamped sheet metal and fairly light-duty.</p>
