That sounds delicious! I love crab but am intimidated about breaking down anything other than King or Snow crab</p>

I probably just used too much though.</p>

<p dir="auto">Have an air fry toaster oven. I think it works good for fries and tater tots, takes longer but heathier without all the oil so I think it is worth it. Tried chicken thighs with Chicken on the Run, turned out good but the fat from the chicken causes a lot of smoke, even with the fat trimmed. Now I coat them with chicken on the run and grill them, wife and I like the seasoning. I haven’t tried it with nuggets or things like that but I would assume it would work good.</p>

<p dir="auto">Mine sets off my smoke alarm on a regular basis, even when there is no visible smoke.</p>

It’s not going to mimic deep-frying perfectly but it can be a lot healthier than deep-frying sometimes is. If you make fried chicken in it I suggest using the thighs as they have enough fat in them to sort of crisp up a little.</p>

Like <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/twilliams" aria-label="Profile: twilliams"><bdi>twilliams</bdi></a> mentioned, it will cut some oil and fat, making a healthier option for someone needing less fat in their diet. It does OK on frozen prepackaged stuff. It takes some experimenting to get fresh foods to taste decent in them. They are great for apartments, campers etc. As <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/grimpuppy" aria-label="Profile: Grimpuppy"><bdi>Grimpuppy</bdi></a> said, use a oil spray bottle. I use light olive oil on fresh vegetables and season them. From what I understand each machine cooks a little different.</p>

I mist everything with a little olive oil before air frying. Makes a big difference of how crisp things turn out. But it also adds oil but not near as much as deep frying. You will learn over time how fast yours cooks. Mine cooks everything in about 1/2 the time most recipes say it should take.</p>

Sort of a novelty of sorts. It works pretty good making tater tots and the like, wings and reheating some foods. Pretty much anything you can do in a toaster/convection oven. You will need to experiment with yours to see how it cooks and timing. Ours was a basket that made it difficult to lift anything out of it and some items, wings, fries, tots, etc… you would need to shake and toss in the basket throughout the cook cycle. It didn’t heat the house up and saved some time.</p>
