I can’t eat deer, beef, rabbit or pork for 5 years! I am already tired of fish and fowl. I would love to have some new ideas on how to cook something different with these. My deer snack sticks and jerky are useless now, so looking for something for chicken, duck, or turkey? I don’t know, can you make fish jerky? It is going to be a long 5 years!!!

We have a bunch of King from lake Ontario we caught last year…id be interested in maybe making some, or maybe we can find a way to ship you some of the frozen fillets to make some! What seasoning would you use you think??? And how much pork fat would we have to add…? I’m curious now!

Or at least we hope we will be. The only good news I have heard on this recently is that they are saying more people seem to be recovering from it in as little as 8 months. Now, it seems like 5 years. or closer to that might be more common but still, at least you can hope.

Do you know if it is just the meat or is the fat as well? If it is the fat you can make awesome snack sticks and summer sausage with chicken or turkey if you add 25% or so pork fat. My wife and I also make shredded chicken every week in the crockpot, it at least changes the texture of it so it doesnt feel like eating yet another chicken breast. Also, some commercial places make fish (salmon I think, maybe swordfish) snack sticks but i’d recommend finding and ordering one before you buy them cause…very particular taste!
